Katy Perry introduces label-mate and friend Ferras at Zootopia in New York over this last weekend. The crowd participated in a short sing along with Katy. This is so exciting because two of my best friends dreams are finally coming true. I'm so proud of these two very talented artist.

FERRAS ON THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO...

If you didn't take my advice and TIVO Ferras last night on Jay Leno, worry not because I have it for you. Not only did Ferras give another beautiful performance, he looked great wearing a suit by Lanvin and silver Gucci shoes. You know, the ones I have to have. I also enjoyed the back up from the string section. It gave a sort of light breeze.

FERRAS ON THE TODAY SHOW...

We woke up early today and waited in great anticipation for Ferras' performance on The Today Show with Matt Lauer and Meredith Viera. He gave an inspired and chilling performance of Hollywood Is Not America that will no doubt launch this amazingly talented singer/songwriter into the hearts of the universe. "The name is Ferras. If you don't know it, you will."

Good job Ferrasito!

...FRIDAY...

Started off with me styling Ferras for a Pre-Grammy party night. He wore a Ted Baker suit, white Versace button up, Silver thin Chanel tie, Black D&G dress shoes. Me, I stuck to my favorite blue velvet vintage Yves Saint Laurent jacket, white V-neck shirt, black skinny jeans, and patent leather dress shoes. Oh hey. So off we went to our first party stop, the AAM party at Paramount. Mostly industry but we met up with Katy Perry, Dr.Luke, and Mia Moretti. Did the rounds of saying hello then Dr.Luke generously gave us his limo to take to the Mark Ronson party at the Roosevelt in Hollywood. After Mark played a great show he had the party moved over to Teddy’s were his sister Samantha Ronson was DJing. Teddy’s was a blast and it didn’t take long for Mark to take over the turntables. Yesss.

PLANS FOR FRI, SAT, SUN...

Children, I'm sure y'all have noticed my lack of blogging this weekend but this social whore had to make the rounds. Thursday I took Golden Brooks to a tastemakers listening party for Ferras where we were witness to an emotional, tearful, and enthralling performance. Then it was off to dinner at Katsuya in Hollywood where Golden ran into "Girlfriends" castmate and friend Tracey Ross. After being mauled by the Paparazzi we scooted over to the In Style party at BLVD 3 but just for a quick pump around because we had to make it to the Katy Perry show at the Viper Room. The LA Times review on Katy's show:



...it was impossible to deny the charisma and chops of L.A.-based Katy Perry on Thursday night at a very packed Viper Room. A musical diarist in the vein of January's diva-of-the-month, Kate Nash, Perry infuses her boyfriend-bending pop with plenty of bite and, for her age (22), a healthy dose of self-awareness. The Santa Barbara native will have a lot of appeal among the teen masses -- and maybe among those whose attention spans run longer than your average text message.

That's my girl! So back to the Friday, oh no this was all Thursday night, ish. So Golden didn't make it to the show but dropped me off but I did find my other partner in crime, Matt Dallas.



Matt and I kidnapped Katy P from everyone and went back to the In Style party, oh vay!. There I ran into Shelter's Trevor Wright and Summerland cast mate Jesse McCartney who told me he was just about to record his first video, with Shawn Kingston, for his new album. Next stop, Hyde, for its 80's Thursdays y'all. That was not the last stop because DJ Group E./Mia Moretti was spinnin it over at S Bar. So bam! S Bar it was. That’s where we lost Matt Dallas but Katy and I wanted to keep the party going, keep in mind this was the first time we had seen each other in person in weeks. So we hailed a taxi and blazed it to a house party in the hills.



Not done yet, we ended the night at James Valentine's house. Mark Ronson, James V., and a few more other people I dare not say their names (only because I don’t remember them). Hehe. So after the boys played and "jammed" we traveled down the hill to the Chateau Marmont where, now Grammy winner, Mark Ronson was staying. Mark made sure I had everything I needed: pillow? Check. Comfy couch? Check. Water? Check. Blanket? Check. BBC's Doctor Who? check. I was all set. He's so hospitable. So that was my Friday... I mean Thursday. I’m afraid to start Fridays post.

FERRAS STOPS BY THE JAVA DETOUR...

Today Capitol's recording artist Ferras took a little detour to say hi. He was on his way to a fitting for his music video for his first single "Hollywood's Not America".

FERRAS GETS INTIMATE AT THE VIPER ROOM... HE ALWAYS DOES

Virgin Records' Ferras steals the small and very intimate crowd of the Viper Room. Playing songs like "Aliens and Rainbows" and "Hollywood's Not America" This veteran new comer is quickly rising to stardom faster then Britney can finish her Big Gulp. Seriously y'all ! AMERICAN IDOL SHOWS FERRAS LOVE...

Friday's Variety Magazine announces that American Idol will have three farewell songs this season as opposed to just using one like last past seasons (like you can forget Daniel Powter's Bad Day) and they're starting with Capitol Records artist Ferras' song Hollywood Is Not America. So listen for it on February 12th and 13th. To hear Ferras now check out his Myspace Page.
