Excuse # 1. Katy Katy Katy. As some of you may know my best friend Katy Perry's star has been rising quite fast lately and she's had photo shoot after photo shoot. So I've teamed up with super fashionista Johnny Wujek to style Miss Perry. Because, contrary to popular belief, that look does not come easy. As her sister Angela Hudson Perry says, "It takes a village to raise a Katy." As the divine miss Marilyn Monroe would say, "It isn't easy being Marilyn Monroe even if you are Marilyn Monroe".

Excuse# 2. That damn insurance has yet to cough up the FEDS for me to buy a new laptop. Eew. I was like, "Y'all stingy! It ain't no baby tiger...it's just a laptop!"

Excuse# 3. The Damn Internet in my F-N apartment is down, and it’s so time consuming to call the F-N phone company.

In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot Marilyn Monroe in “The Last Sitting” photo shoot and 46 years later, he revisited his classic shots with Lindsay Lohan.



Lindsay in NYMag. commenting on Marilyn Monroe and Heath Ledgers tragic deaths:"They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone… I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”

Lins on Marilyn's shoot: “Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public. She’s saying, ‘Look, you’ve taken a lot from me, so why don’t I give it to you myself.’ She’s taking control back.”



Lindsay on posing nude:“I was comfortable with it… I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.”
